Bios Dianne: Music has been a passion in my life
for many years. I am classically trained in piano and theory. I was particularly
drawn to the Baroque period, a musical place of endless joy and
wonder. I also played recorder with my family in a four-piece
ensemble and later studied harpsichord. Earlier in life, I’ve been involved
in choir performances with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and participated in
Gilbert and Sullivan operettas. I’ve been particularly delighted with folk and
Celtic music, the music of The Beatles and other rock and pop groups. Newer
explorations have included Country and Western music, the works of Beethoven,
Brahms, Prokoviev, Scriabin, Debussy and other contemporary composers.
Mastering this material has occupied many hours of study and practice. Chuck: I was born in Toronto, and for almost as long as I can remember, I have been singing, playing guitar, and entertaining people. I’m basically self-taught and simply love entertaining. I've performed in hundreds of clubs, restaurants, pubs, retirement homes and for private functions. I like nothing better, and I think that I do a pretty decent job at entertaining people. I've found that people enjoy my performances and keep coming back for more. I love all types of music, especially Country, Folk and Popular. I especially like doing requests.
I
know how to entertain an audience and I know how to make people enjoy
themselves. And when they enjoy themselves, they come back again and again. |
